Which is a Good Home Business to Choose? And Why?
A major part of the Internet Search Engines traffic every day is people searching for a a business they can run from home. Probably most of these people are fed up of their jobs, answering to a boss and also fancy the idea of having more money.The unfortunate fact is, however, that over 95% of these people, should they start a home business will fail and only end up losing money they can ill afford. There are many reasons why this figure is so high, here are just a few of them.
Most business opportunities online are there to make money, this is the key point; they are there to make money and NOT make you money. They do not have proper guidance and structures in place to help the novice even understand what is needed to succeed in a business online or off. These are not businesses for people with no experience to join and novices or ‘newbies’ should avoid these opportunities or they will simply make someone else some money and they’ll have given up inside a month at best , thoroughly deflated and disillusioned. This leads to the out and out scams out there. There are plenty of these about and they will just take the poor opportunity searcher’s money and disappear with the money. Unfortunately there are plenty of these about and really it’s the responsibility of the business opportunity seeker to check out each program they come across very carefully and research properly into each one before committing any funds.
More and more people are catching on to the fact that you can use the Internet to check out and research into any of these online home business opportunities. Simply type into a search engine the ‘Opportunity name’ and then the words ‘review’ and ’scam’ or ’success’ and you are sure to uncover lots of opinions on your prospective business. Be sure not to take any one opinion too seriously. Some people are ‘cold water pourers’ and will knock ANY business opportunities whether they have tried them or not, but if everybody is saying the same thing about it then you can be fairly sure that this could be one to stay away from.
Unfortunately there are a lot of naive or green people out there who all too easily go starry eyed at the dazzling sales copy and pictures of mansions and luxury cars that the average home based business always employ as the big carrot to suck you in. Most actually believe that once they get their own sales page that’s it! They start to make money immediately. Well forget the search engines, hundreds if not thousands of identical pages on the same server is the biggest red flag you could ever wave at that old bull, Google. You will need to learn other ways of promoting your site and maybe spend more money to get this done. See how far away we are now from the ’sit back and watch the money’ mentality already?
Who wants a garage full of pills and water additives? When your garage is full who still wants to receive more of the stuff because they have to if they want to remain in the program? The point I am getting at here is that you should always look carefully at the product that the system is selling apart from the opportunity. Too many folk are dazzled by the promise of riches and the heavenly life they are going to get that they neglect to look too closely at the products they are going to be trying to promote. Another fact is that we cannot all be great salesmen. You can bet your bottom dollar that the high figure earners in any company ARE natural salesmen (as well as good business people and hard workers..) but we’re not all Great on the phone. Another reason for people failing is the low price ticket item. Don’t forget all your visitors cost the same amount, either in money or effort so why sell them something for $19.95? as opposed to $1,000? If you are selling these then you can work your butt off all month and make $200. Will you do the same the next month? Maybe.. What about the month after that? and after that? and that? Eventually you (or your partner) are going to convince yourself that it’s not worth it. All you did was get yourself another (poorly paid) job.
We know now there are lots of different reasons why the vast majority of home business opportunity seekers fail. Take the time to research the business properly before you part with any hard earned cash. The Top priority, especially for inexperienced people or people new to Internet marketing is to find out what support and help you are likely to get from above. Get in under a leader if you can. There is no free ride, even if you pay an initial fee, so try to get out of that mindset, you will have to work.
